Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures And Partial Dentures

There is a lot that you can control with your oral health. If you keep up with daily maintenance by brushing and flossing daily, visit your dentist at least twice a year, and do your best to avoid any serious damage, you should have a lasting smile for years to come. However, one thing that we can’t prevent is the effects that will take place as we get older. In many cases, people will start to lose their teeth as they get older, no matter how well they keep up with regular maintenance. And while this is never an ideal situation, you can rest assured knowing that we offer partial and complete dentures that will keep your smile looking great.

To learn more about complete and partial dentures, give us a call today. You can set up an appointment at one of our three offices by calling our Huntington Beach office at (714) 968-2527; our Brea office at (714) 257-0330; or our Placentia office at (714) 577-9070. Just one phone call can have your teeth back to the great shape that you want them in.

What’s The Difference Between Partial And Complete Dentures?

Depending on how your teeth currently look, we can advise whether partial or complete dentures will be best for you. If you still have a fair amount of teeth that are in place, then we can fit you with a partial denture. A partial denture will be placed around your existing teeth in order to give you the strong oral foundation that you need.

On the other hand, if you have already lost majority of your teeth, you may be better off going with a complete set of dentures. If this is the case, we may advise to remove any existing teeth that you have left and then fit you with a new set of permanent dentures. Each case varies depending on the patient’s oral health, which is why we advise that you come to see us so that we can make a better evaluation of how to help you.

Can I Wait To Get Dentures?

We highly recommend that you don’t put off getting dentures any longer. It may never be easy to accept that you are at an age where you need dentures. However, if you wait longer to get your teeth fixed, then you are risking further damage. Your teeth rely on one another to stay in place and stay put. If you are missing teeth, then your existing teeth will begin to shift around and out of place. This will cause greater issues for your entire oral health.

Although getting dentures may not be something that you are eager about doing, it’s best that you have it seen to sooner, rather than later. Here are CDIC, we aim to provide our customers with the best oral care possible. That’s why we will walk you through the denture treatment process to ensure that you feel completely comfortable with your decision.
